Update Sunday 14th August

Dear Member

You will be aware we had to postpone our regatta last weekend due to the weather.
We do want to reinstate this annual event but we are somewhat constrained by not wanting to clash with other local events and running the event before schools restart.
To that end we have now re-scheduled and will run a mini regatta on the evening of this coming Friday August 19th.

Attached is a poster - please display it if you can and do come along and join in.

Postponement of Regatta

Friday 5th August

Dear All

In view of the forecast for both tomorrow and Sunday we have decided to postpone the Boat Club regatta that was scheduled for this weekend..
The forecast of force 6 to 8 on both days means that no dinghy sailing would be possible and cruiser racing also very unlikely.
We will look to hold the regatta either next week or the weekend after and will make that decision at our committee meeting on Monday.
